Why Albuquerque?

Sandia Tram

Albuquerque is the Corazon, heart, of the Rio Grande Valley with the stunning Sandia Mountains forming its eastern perimeter.  The major city has a growing population of approximately 845,913.  It is conveniently located in the center of New Mexico at the intersection of two major highways: Interstate 25 (running north/south) and Interstate 40 (running east/west).  The city is the financial and industrial foundation of the state and serves as New Mexico's source for transportation, communications, commerce, and medical facilities.  The city is noted for the University of New Mexico’s health and medical services, government agencies, Sandia Laboratory’s nuclear research, banking, and tourism.
